Babafemi AJAYI – Executive Director

Babafemi holds a first degree in industrial engineering; he is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), a Certified Information Systems Auditor, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and associate member of the Institute of Financial Consultant Canada. He trained at the International Firm, Cooper & Lybrand (from 1996 to June 1998), and continued his training with B D O Oyediran Faleye Oke and Co where he rose to the position of Auditor Senior. He later joined Modant Marine Limited as the Chief Accountant and Systems Administrator (from September 2000 to September 2005), and rose to the position of Assistant General Manager Finance. He joined Ventures and Trusts Limited from Modant Marine as the Chief Financial Officer, where he works till today.

His areas of interest are financial advisory, structured finance, investment management; business strategy and systems development.
