Our Story

Encapsulate Nigeria Limited (ENL) is a proudly women Nigerian-owned, multi-disciplinary industrial services company incorporated in August 2001, providing integrated Procurement & Supply Chain Solutions, Technical & Manpower Solutions, Engineering, Construction & Project Management, and Marine Logistics, Equipment Leasing & Support Solutions to clients across the oil & gas, manufacturing, energy and industrial sectors.

For over two decades, we have partnered with local and international organisations to deliver dependable, cost-effective and value-driven solutions that support business continuity, enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Our capabilities span the full project and operational support cycle—from strategic sourcing, procurement and supply chain management to technical services, manpower deployment, engineering, construction, project execution, marine logistics and equipment leasing. Meet our team of experts in Management and Engineering

Chief (Mrs.) Carolyn Akum Ufere is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Encapsulate Nigeria Limited. She is a distinguished maritime professional, licensed human resource practitioner and seasoned administrator with extensive experience in maritime operations, public administration, corporate governance, human capital management and strategic leadership.

She had a highly accomplished career with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), where she held several senior leadership positions, including General Manager, SERVICOM; General Manager, Superannuation and Investments; General Manager, Special Duties; and Port Manager, Rivers Port Complex. Her appointment as Port Manager was historic, as she became the first woman to occupy the position in the Port’s 109-year history. She retired meritoriously from the NPA in 2018.

During her career, she also coordinated the NPA’s engagements with major international and regional maritime organisations, including the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH), International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the Port Management Association of West and Central Africa (PMAWCA). She also contributed to Nigeria’s port reform programme as a member of the Subcommittee on Labour Issues Harmonisation under the Presidential Task Force on Port Reforms.

Chief (Mrs.) Ufere holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Benin and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos. She has undertaken several professional and executive development programmes internationally and holds a Certificate in Global Leadership from Harvard Business School Executive Education, Boston, Massachusetts.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT), Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping (FNIS) and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM). She currently serves as Continental Vice President, African Women in Maritime (WIMAfrica), Anglophone, and has received several industry recognitions for her contribution to maritime development and women’s leadership.

Beyond her professional career, she is actively involved in humanitarian and community development initiatives and serves on the boards of charitable and educational organisations.

As Chairman of Encapsulate Nigeria Limited, Chief (Mrs.) Ufere provides strategic leadership and Board oversight, drawing on her extensive experience in governance, maritime and logistics operations, people management and stakeholder engagement to support the Company’s commitment to operational excellence, sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Oyekunle Oyelakun is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Encapsulate Nigeria Limited. He is an accomplished finance professional, entrepreneur and business executive with extensive leadership experience spanning accounting and finance, taxation, internal audit, treasury management, corporate governance, oil and gas, maritime services, engineering, procurement and business development.

He is an Accounting graduate of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI) and a Certified Financial Consultant (CFC).

Oyekunle began his professional career with Akapo & Partners, Chartered Accountants, before joining OA & Co., Chartered Accountants, Management Consultants and Tax Practitioners, where he progressed to the position of Consultant. He subsequently joined SCOA Nigeria Plc, where he rose to become Head of Internal Audit for the company’s procurement operations and was responsible for establishing and leading the Internal Audit function overseeing procurement activities for the Group.

His career progressed into the oil and gas and maritime sectors when he joined the Execon Group as Group Internal Auditor. During his tenure, he assumed broader management responsibilities, serving at various times as Treasury Manager, General Manager of Execon Technical and Chief Finance Officer of Execon Petroleum.

He was subsequently seconded to Modant Marine Limited as Chief Accountant for Watercraft Services. Following the establishment of a joint venture with Seabulk Inc. in 2003, he became General Manager, Finance and Administration of Modant Seabulk Nigeria Limited, where he was responsible for the financial and administrative management of the joint venture established to operate and manage a fleet of five ocean-going vessels.

In 2008, Oyekunle joined Ocean Marine Solutions Limited (OMSL), a pioneer and leading marine security company in Nigeria, as General Manager, Finance and Accounts. As part of the senior management team, he played an instrumental role in the Company’s growth and development, contributing his financial, commercial and strategic expertise to strengthening its operations and supporting its expansion within Nigeria’s maritime security sector.

He subsequently became Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of PPP Fluid Mechanics Limited, further broadening his executive leadership experience in engineering, technical services and the oil and gas sector.

Oyekunle is a Shareholder and Executive Director of Delta Pacific Maritime Services Limited (DPMSL), Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL), Total Global & Logistics Services Limited (TGLS), and Water Heights Global Investment Limited (WHGIL). He is also a Partner at BAO & Co., Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners.

His career across professional services, manufacturing, oil and gas, maritime security, marine operations, engineering and investment has equipped him with a strong combination of financial expertise, entrepreneurial leadership, commercial acumen, corporate governance and operational experience.

As Vice Chairman of Encapsulate Nigeria Limited, Oyekunle provides strategic direction and Board-level oversight, with particular focus on corporate governance, financial and investment strategy, risk management, business development and sustainable growth. His extensive cross-sector experience supports the Company’s commitment to operational excellence, strong governance and the creation of sustainable long-term value for its clients and stakeholders.
